Meet the Team

Joanne Rodriguez is the principal owner of Mitigation Land Specialists “MLS”. Joanne brings years of experience as a project manager in real estate development and land conservation. At the Center for Natural Lands Management, Joanne managed all fee title and conservation easement acquisitions from site evaluation through the due diligence process and close of escrow. As a Broker/REALTOR, she currently manages the credit sales at two conservation banks in San Diego County, and conducts landowner outreach and land acquisitions throughout California for clients such as PG&E, NRG, Plus Power, Enel Green Power North America, and private developers.

ELS also facilitates of solutions for mitigation requirements with agencies, project proponents, utilities and the environmental community.

 Trestles Environmental Corporation

Trestles Environmental Corporation (TEC) is a biological consulting firm providing professional consulting services in habitat restoration and natural resource planning, watershed management, soil science, and regulatory permitting and wetland ecology. TEC ecologists possess a broad range of skills necessary for developing practical solutions to complex multi-objective studies and has completed numerous successful restoration and management plans for coastal watersheds and for sensitive plant communities. Restoration project require interdisciplinary teams with resource planners, civil engineers and landscape architects. From this, Trestles has gained valuable skills in developing practical solutions that are adapted to the natural, social and political environment.
